New year...new start!

The ball just dropped and here we are in 2013. Te weight has crept up once again and this time 8 can really feel it in my tight jeans and in my belly because i can barely tie my shoes. What will make this year the year i will reach my goal? Not sure. I need some motivation. Right now the tight gut and shorter pants is a good start.

Goal for week one of 2013?

Continuing my habit of walking. Not running...walking! As much as i would like to move right into the 5k training i know it will not work. I have tried that time and time again. An old lady like me cannot go from couch potato to 5k no matter what they say. I get too gung ho amd then i get injured and quit. Instead i have to start slow. So...for the first week of 2013 i will walk at least 3 days for at least 15 minutes. If i do more...great, but i have to start small or i won't make it at all!

Drinking water. One soda a day. Lots of water.

Start small. Baby steps!
